  1. Up to what height Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour flight tour?

Capital of Nepal, the Kathmandu city located on the elevation of 1300 meters. The flights start from Kathmandu and reaches at Lukla Airport (2830m) for refueling. Continues to Hotel Everest View (3800m) and you will be landed at Kalapatthar on the elevation of 5545 meters and Everest Base Camp at 5364 meters. The Helicopter makes rounding flight closer by Mt Everest so it might fly up to above 6300 meters.

  1. Does this flight lands at Everest Base Camp?

Yes, it does, to be honest; the Kalapatthar view point is best view point to Mt Everest and nearby peaks. It is sure that you will land at Kalapatthar on the elevation of 5545 meters, we understand everyone has dream to land at Kalapatthar and Base Camp but landing at Base Camp depends on wind speed. Sometime landing spot at EBC disappears due to landslide too. Just for your information you will not see Mt. Everest from its Base Camp. Incase if it it’s not possible to land the pilots takes touching distance of base camp and Everest.

  1. How long landing at Base Camp and Kalapatthar?

Normally, total tour will be for 4 to 5 hours from Kathmandu to Kathmandu. You will have enough time to out from helicopter, look around and take pictures. The Helicopter engine will be keep running during your out visit from Helicopter in Kalapatthar and Base Camp so you will have 10 to 20 minutes time. Another landing will in Hotel Everest View for about an hour for breakfasts.

  1. Pilots are enough trained?

Do not worry about it. The pilots are very experiences flying helicopter in high elevation and they have been flying over a decade. They are also fully informative about all peaks, culture and religion of Nepal. You may ask him entire questions. For private tour you may take our guide too.

  1. Is the Oxygen available on Helicopter and kids can take flight?

Yes, in my over decade experiences this is the questions which is asked often. Please kindly note that there will be oxygen inside helicopter and automatically maintained on high elevation above 3000 meters. The small kids and old people easily can take this flight

  1. What happens in case of bad weather and flight didn’t take off?

In this case, either postponed your flight for following day if you have time. If you don’t have time you will get full amount refund. Normally if it is bad weather in mountains the Helicopter will not take off from Kathmandu.

  1. How Can I book this flight with your company?

In order to confirm your flight from abroad (Outside Nepal) we require 30 percent advance deposit amount of total cost which should be transferred to our company bank account. You may pay by cards for remaining amount once you are here. If you are in Nepal it’s easy paying by cards, online transfer or whatever.
