Flight Route during Everest Base Camp Helicopter tour
The Helicopter tour begins from Kathmandu International Airport. You fly high above the Kathmandu valley and then directly to Lukla Airport. You can observe outstanding views of Nagarkot, Patan durbar Square, Kathmandu durbar square, Swoyambhunath temple, Jiri and then the mountain ranges of Lukla.
After a short fueling break at Lukla Airport, we fly towards Namche Bazaar. The helicopter flies above the Syangboche, Tengboche Monastery, Pheriche, gorekshep and then to Kalapather.
We stop for 5-10 minutes at Kalapather. Staying there for longer time may cause altitude sickness. The view of Mt. Everest in front of you is marvelous and chilling. We will go to Everest Hotel for Lunch. It’s difficult for me to express the moment when we sit in the Everest View hotel. I just say its awesome sitting there.

Time to Begin Everest Base Camp Helicopter tour
We prefer to begin the tour early in the morning because the weather looks clear and attractive. Early in the morning, we will have breakfast. One of our staff will take you to the Kathmandu International Airport at 5:30 am. And we start the tour sharp 6:30am. The flight takes 45 minutes to land at Lukla. After 15-20 minutes of flight, we reach Kalapather and then to Everest Base Camp.
We will Lunch at Everest View Hotel and finally return back to Lukal and then to Kathmandu International Airport.
